You Can Make The Next First Step Possible
There is something special about a first step.
A young dancer walks into the studio for the first time, unsure of what to expect. A student takes the stage for the first time, wondering if she is ready. A senior joins a movement class, not knowing whether she can still keep up.
And then something happens...
The music begins. The dancer moves. The audience applauds. A smile appears. And suddenly, that first step becomes something more: a moment of confidence, connection, possibility, and joy.
At Neglia Ballet, we see these moments all the time. And while they may look different from one person to the next, they all have something in common:
They are possible because people like you choose to make them possible.
Because of you, a child can discover the joy of dance.
Because of you, a dancer can pursue a dream and experience the exhilaration of performing.
Because of you, members of our community who may never have imagined themselves in a dance class can experience the physical, emotional, and social benefits of movement.
Because of you, professional ballet continues to have a home—and an audience—in Buffalo.
For more than 30 years, Neglia Ballet has opened doors through performance, education, and community engagement. From the stage to the studio and from young dancers to older adults, we believe that dance has the power to inspire, connect, and transform.
And every journey begins with a first step.
Your annual gift helps make that first step possible.
