Neglia Ballet's Spring Gala
Thank you to all those who helped make our evening of dance a success!
Although the performance is over, please consider making a donation today to help us reach our goal benefiting CityDance.
Our Spring Gala, presented by Delaware North, brings together the best of the dance world: acclaimed dancers from across the globe, local favorites, and rising stars! It's a performance everyone can enjoy, whether it's your first ballet performance or your 100th!
This year we are excited to feature:
Principal dancers Dana Benton & Jonnathan Ramirez from Colorado Ballet (pictured below, photo credit: Gene Witkowski). They will be dancing a heart-wrenching pas de deux “Lady of the Camellias”, choreographed by the acclaimed Val Caniporali.
Emily Bromberg formerly of Miami City Ballet, and her partner, Chase Swatosh, will perform "This Bitter Earth" a moving pas de deux sure to take your breath away, by world-renowned choreographer, Christopher Wheeldon.
Rainer Krenstetter and Tricia Albertson will perform George Balanchine’s energetic pas de duex “Who Cares?” *
From Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Maggie Weatherdon, a stunning Neglia Ballet alumna, will be featured in "Brahms" a piece choreographed by our very own Heidi Halt. (pictured below, credit Gene Witkowski)
After competing in The Prix du Lausanne 2024 and YAGP Toronto earlier this year, Neglia Ballet's rising star Rowan Lindamood (pictured below), will be featured in a NEW piece by Heidi Halt alongside Neglia Ballet alumni, including Maggie Weatherdon and Adrien Malof.
New to our Gala, Tulsa Ballet principal dancers Jaimi Cullen and Aubin Le Marchand will showcase a pas de deux from "Romeo and Juliet."
The evening doesn't end when the curtain closes either!
After the performance audience members will be invited to celebrate alongside the evening's dancers with complimentary champagne, desserts by Lola's Bake Shop and finger sandwiches provided by Asa Ransom House restaurant, Adelaide's.
If you can't make it, you can still be a part of the event by making a donation before April 28th and be included in our program. All donations and ticket sales directly benefit Neglia Ballet's CityDance Program and future public performances.
Thank you to our incredible event sponsors who have generously chosen to support our performance ensuring all ticket sales go directly to programming!
